Sorry for not updating since the last of January, guys. I have a competition, and it’s crazy! It’s a website competition with my FBLA chapter. Look it up. ;) Well, I don’t have much time, because I’m in Entrepreneurship right now, and I can’t explain. But check it out: www.potomacfbla.org. Tell me what you think so far. It’s nowhere near done, so…yeah. I’m at school, and my internet’s off, but I’ll be on my way to the library to upload some new resources for you guys I made on PSCS3 last night. No, I’m not. My computer got messed up from everyone downloading things, so my dad’s friend, Mr. Jeff, had to fix the harddrive. Now, the computer is EMPTAYY. So, I’ve lost Photoshop CS3, I’ve lost Photofiltre Studio, I’ve lost all my documents, pictures, everything. Absolutely everything. Yep. Well, I know you’re thinking, “Aww, too bad. So, what do you have for me?” Haha. Here’s a layout I’ve made. It’s actually pretty cute. I’ve never done salmon before. You’ll see what I mean when you click it. It’ll go in the content section soon. Another layout was made, but I haven’t put it up yet. That word “layout” will be a link soon.

What are you talking about, Nytiah? It’s 2010. Twenty-ten! The big Two Thousand and TEN. Yes, changes, Tia. Ah, a chance to start over, a chance to be fresh, a chance for something newer. Something better. No. Not for me. I’ve been trying to update this website for the past week. Besides having to BEG my family to let me DO SOME HOMEWORK or WORK ON MY WEBSITE, while they check their stupid fake virtual not real cafe. So, 2010 hasn’t started yet. The same crying every day, the same suffering, the same insecurities and pain I went through in 2009. So, my resolution list won’t go into play until January 8, 2010 12:00 AM. Why? Because it’s the day after the first week. Enough time so I can get my fill of this torture. And then be DONE with it. For good. No, it’s not that I don’t love my family, it’s that I wish that I didn’t care so much. To sit through the yelling and playing and house destruction of a 9, 8, 6, and 4 year old. To sit through my parents yelling. To sit in my disgustingly dirty room that they DESTROY when I try to go outside and get some peace. Lock your door, Tia. Sorry, haven’t had a knob for a year now. A year. Yes, a year. Because I slammed my door after I cried last year. Yup. But the kids have a knob. With a lock. Oh, yes sir-ee, you better believe it. I’m tired. Sick and tired. Of this. I’ll try to get some updates in by this week. I really will. I’m sorry, everyone.

That planet Earth turns slowly. You’ve got to be in love with Owl City’s “Fireflies”, are you not? Yeah, I went and spent a whopping $2.50 on that bad boy from Virgin Mobile to make it my ringtone, but then I didn’t pay my bill so it’s just sitting in my “My Stuff” folder on my X-TC (which is now on sale, ef you Virgin Mobile), so yeh. Well, there’s been a lot of problems at home, so updates have been slow, and I apologize. But, as a reward for being so patient there are new premade layouts So, the contest, obviously was never held, due to my personal issues. But, I promise the next one will begin before 2010. So, this time, details will be here by tonight’s update, or tomorrow’s. I’m off to add more things to the site. <3

Hooray! I feel not idle anymore. I’ve udpated a lot of non-working things on the website. I should have some new scans soon, because I practically ripped apart the David’s Bridal magazine that I found in my Interior Design class. You guys have got to thank Ms. Malloy for that. And, to get to the site’s content just click the “content” cloud on top of the HUGE “candypixels.com” at the top of the header.

Well, school life is getting better. I’ve become more organized. And I’ve also got to say that, “Everybody Hates Chris” is hilarious! I love Chris Rock, he’s my favourite comedian. And, no, not because he’s black. (IDK why, but everyone always suspects that I like him because he’s African American, and it’s like wth?) I hope that I can also update the premade domain layouts section with more than just one layout that I’ve made, because I have a handful of them that are coded, but I’m just too lazy to put them up. Well, it seems like it’s going to happen by Saturday, all of my updates, that is.

And, good news! Starting Friday, December 6, 2009, we will have our first contest! Isn’t that amazing? Nothing is official yet, except for the start date. The last entry date will be Monday, December 16, 2009. I don’t have any (non) vague details right now (lol) but I do know that it is a cash prize of $5 (something small, for my first contest) and a plug into my blog. Yes, it is a talent contest, so get ready. Yes, it involves graphics. I will have more details probably by 8:00 PM EST tomorrow, December 1, 2009. So, look forward to that! Oh, I’m so excited!

Yay! The new layout is up, and I should have everything integrated within today. I’m so proud of myself, because I’ve never tried any style like this before. I have to admit though, it was very inspired by my good net-buddy Kristun, who I’ve known for about a year, I think. She’s amazing, and like an older icon for myself, since I’m only but fifteen. So, anyway, that’s been my catchphrase for about the past week, it has. And a lot of my classmates and friends are sick and tired of it, haha! I find it quite funny though. Well, one of my shenanigans would go like this:

Me: *takes friend’s filler paper*
Friend: “HEY!”
Me: “What?”
Friend: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN? You just took my friggin’ paper without even asking.”
Me: “So?”
Friend: “SO ASK!”
Me: “Can I have some paper?”
Friend: “YOU WROTE YOUR NAME ON IT!”
Me: “So?”
Friend: “You know what…”
Me: “What?”
Friend: *groans agitatedly*
Me: “Whoa, get nasty.”

Anyway, I saw a bit of New Moon, and I have to say, that it wasn’t all that special, what I saw. The ending, (OH, GOD, NO, COVER YOUR EYES, DONT LOOK DONT READ WHATS B-Q’D IF YOU HAVNT RED OMG IT WILL END UR TWILIGHT LOVIN’ LIFE.)

Man, are you serious with the cliffhanger ending? That was extremely gh3y. Like, not even ~~gay~~, as in h(o)m(o), but gh3y. Like, “g( as in g—oh m’—GOD!) h3y(as in HEY WTF…). “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” Are you serious. Then black out. I’ve read the books, I knew it was coming, but DANG. You could’ve at least finished. Lazy…

Hey, guys. I’ve decided not to put the new layout up. It’s way too busy, I’ll finish the coding later. But, in good news, I am doing a major update, tonight. Sorry I’ve been semi-idle for two-weeks. It’s been pretty hectic at my house. A lot of new things, too. As a matter of fact, I’ve got some great news!

There’s been a new addition to my family. My own little family. I got a puppy, you guys! He’s here! He’s a very tiny little boy. I’ve named him Ember, and he’s practically my left lung, now. He loves to cuddle, and he’s already paper-trained! I feel so proud. He’s probably not even a lb. He’s blue-fawn and ember coloured.

Also, I’ve been having a lot of field trips, as well. I went to the Maryland Owens Science Center for my Biology class:

Next week, we’re going to The Washington Design Center for my Interior Design class. It’s wonderful living and going to school so close to the center of the nation’s capitol. I get to experience a lot of different things. I’ve lived here all my life, yes, the cost of living is through the roof, (not as bad as I hear NY is) but it’s amazing here! I mean, my mother got to meet Michelle Obama at her JOB! I won’t tell you where she works, but still! That’s amazing. I hope you all will consider moving or visiting here. It truly is a wonder in the *DMV.
